My friend had a chopper motorcycle that had the forks that stuck way out and he always wore a bandana on his head and a beaded leather vest. I was wearing a halter top and shorts and when I exited the bike I burnt the CRAP out of my leg! I got blood poisioning and everything, I still have a scar to remind me.I didn't make a good hippy

I'm not quite sure of your question. but here goes.In 1969 Atlanta Georgia put on a 3 day 3 night outdoor rock festival. It was held in Byron , Ga. Me and a friend went. I was inside the concert area and a bad storm came up . Lightning was like none i had ever experienced. I took off running to get back to my car where we where camped. A bolt of lightning i swear to this day chased me across that damn corn field . I didn't have any shoes on and i was stepping all over sand spurs. well the next day i was rewarded with a swim with 4 of the prettiest girls you had ever seen. there was probably two hundred of us in that damn creek running thru there just as naked as the day we where born.

In 1969 I was with a bunch of hippies that rented an attic. There were 11 of us and my share of the rent was $5.00. We drew a big peacock on the kitchen wall with oil pastels. I bought Surrealistic Pillow from a used record shop. We had wall to wall mattresses in one of the two rooms. If you came home really late, there might not be a place for you to sleep. Colors came out of the radio. My buddy was dating a chick from the university and he convinced her to use her tuition money to finance a big dope deal but he got ripped off. Her father came to visit us in our little psychedelic kitchen and had a wrestling match with my buddy. My aunt sent some Christians to visit us and we served them tea and the woman wanted her cup filled to the brim. We thought mabybe it was because she wanted the cup sterilized.
Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end...
