I had mine for three years. I use it in my dorm and at home. Its fine... The best thing about Walmart is that if you keep your receit, you will be able to return your item if something goes bad. I once returned TV, after using it for 6 month. It broke, they replaced it!

Everything I've bought a Walmart lately has been nothing but junk. I got a dorm fridge at Home Depot about 8 years ago. It has functioned flawlessly...

Depends who makes them, I guess. i wouldnt buy a brand I've never heard of. But Sanyo's pretty good.
