Young and full of hope, career. Older, family. Young gets older. Better if you have a family. Nice having someone to talk to when you are older. Or not.
If you are smart enough to have a successful career, you should have budgeted enough time for a family. Shouldn't be a choice then. Or not.

It depends on where your priorities lie but why not try having both if possible. Careers can usually be put on a back-burner but once the family unit exists they should be considered first unless, of course, the money is a vital contribution to the family income!
This is a sticky wicket where we are damned if we do and damned if we do not!

i actually chose a family when i was younger. If i was smarter i could of held of having my children till later than i could carry on having my career. cause i didn't in a few years i will kick my start my career again so i'll have the best of both worlds hopefully!!
If you are smart you could have both Childminders, grandparents,Playgroups See there are answers out there for working mums. I couldn't do this as i had my children so close together.

Family. It's a career in itself!
Got degrees in Daughterhood, Motherhood, Wifehood and Granddaughterhood, Godmotherhood, Cousinhood and Niecehood! But I guess it won't stop there, I'm trying now to become an Aunt, but my brother and sister wouldn't let me become one...lmao!

Hello,
first career and if success than family. Or both, or in reverse order or all. I'm not sure, it's very difficult question.
