I let my grandmother come over one day and she was going through my brothers bills. Also besides that she has be able to be so rude to her family that no one really wants to talk to her or see her. I thought maybe it would be a good idea to tell her she is being rude and nosy but the family insists on my not saying a word...What do i do?

I have found the best way to handle nosy is to ask: 'Why would you ask that?' or 'Isn't that very a very personal question?' or 'Sorry, I'm just not comfortable discussing that' a: 'right now' b: 'with you'. Perhaps, it would be best to just level with her. You could TACTFULLY explain to her that at this time you need your space. She may be very lonely, or perhaps it is her way of showing her interest in you. Be as kind as you can muster the strength to be, remember you won't be this age forever and she won't be here forever. Be Blessed.

ah, family drama among the dysfunctionals, how incredibly usual. why not firmly stand up for your rights when she infringes upon them. the old "tough love " approach. letting her get away with obviously inappropriate behavior benefits no one and just causes resentment to build against her, to her disadvantage, ultimately. be brave :-)
