You cannot hide your IP if you are connecting directly to a service, like www, there's free proxy access around, but you must find them, it is not easy to do it, and free harder to find.

You can obfuscate it, you can make it harder to find, but you can't totally hide it. That's because if you *do* totally hide it, you never get any packets from the Internet delivered to you. It becomes as useless as a cell phone that's never turned on.

Having said that, there's a number of ways you can make it difficult enough to figure out that most people will give up. Of course, you might get unlucky and end up with somebody both clued and determined to find you - and at that point, your attempt to hide the IP address will likely count against you - it's hard to claim you didn't know you were doing something wrong if you were trying hard to avoid being caught doing it.

Try using Hide IP Platinum, although it does cost money the proxies are provided and work fairly well.

Are you doing something wrong? They'll find you. They know where you are. They know who you are.
