Conan is definately the funniest. If you are ever in NYC try to get free tix to the show b/c it is sooo worth it!

Late night talk shows. Are people still arguing about this? I guess I don't watch enough TV.
I could argue about who is funnier or a better interviewer or puts on a better program, but that's not what you asked. I can say though, that if you had, Jay Leno would not, by any means, win in any of those catagories.
But in order of my preference, I's start with Letterman, He truly should have been Carson's successor on the Tonight Show and Johnny himself seemed to think as much. In my opinion, he's remained consistently funny and has become an even better interviewer and host over these years. Conan, as well, is an excellent, and downright funny, tlak show host, with Jimmy Kimmel right behind him, and I find their shows to be somewhat similar. I like Craig, don't get me wrong, but he's miles behind these guys. Carson Daly? Don't make me laugh (he doesn't).

Nothing compares to good old Johnny Carson. You should have said Carson Daly or whatever his name is. None of the new guys are worth staying up 'just' to watch. More like if there is nothing else on. Networks are networks.

Johnny Carson...by a mile!
Carson was a gentleman...and a funny one. He was the master of the pun...and was pretty clean about it. While I generally enjoy everyone you mention I am just old enough to realize everyone after Johnny Carson is a just a copy....
Did you know toward the end of his life Carson reportedly was sending jokes to David Letterman by fax....he still had the desire to write jokes even if he wasnt performing them....that is a master at work.
And as Dennis Miller says at the end of his rants....Thats just my opinion...I could be wrong

I really like Craig Ferguson.His comedy is so truly funny that it actually makes me laugh out loud. And very few things actually makes me laugh for real. I recommend him all the way.I also love his Scottish accent. I don't have a network preference.

I tend to swap between channels late at night so I don't really have a particular favorite. However, I think Craig Ferguson is really funny.

Used to like Dave but his writing is getting tired. Craig is the best!
