This is illegal, and a chargeable offense. Call your local district attorney, tell them the story and tell them you would like to press charges. Your employer is committing a crime.

Be aware that if you do this, you will have to provide them with proof or some kind of documentation. The district attorney will send some officers over to arrest your employer. You will have to testify in court against your employer.

Also, be aware that your employer may have to spend some time in jail while she raises money for bail!

lower than the honest exertions Standars Act (FLSA) your employer isn't entitled to pay you extra time for saturdays/sundays, holiday journeys, etc. they're required to pay you for added time in case your hours assemble over 40. each state receives to set thier own regulations and if it benefis the worker more effective than the Federal regulation, employers are required to abide with the help of state regulations. besides the undeniable fact that, i'm particularly confident Wisconsin falls lower than the FLSA and does no longer have any particular provisions for holiday journeys. Sorry!
