the season wasnt a fluke. the playoff game against the bengals was a fluke. the only reason they won was because carson palmer got injured.

the steelers season was not a fluke. Sure there were some mistakes made by them in the Super Bowl but Seattle also made some mistakes. It seems to me that the Seahwks could not handle the big game pressure and the best team, the Steelers, won the game. If there season was a fluke, then they would not have made it as far as they did in the playoffs, coming from the sixth seed. Now tell me that wasn't a team determined to make it to the Super Bowl! I can't wait for this years season to begin. Go Steelers!!

Yeah, how many flukes win 5 games in the regular season WHEN THEY HAVE TO and win all the playoff games on the road?
It's rampant jealously that fuel the comments on the steelers. Seahawks did get the shaft on one call - Bens TD. But ok I'll give ya that, we still win 14-10. Holmgren screwed you guys by not managing the clock in the last 2:45 - he gave up. Plus the Steelers shut down Alexander.

When will you whiny little pukes give up? Go to Starbucks & take Mike Holgrem & the rest of the Seaducks with you. Be careful not to CHOKE on anything like they did in the Super Bowl. The Steelers played the best in the NFL on the road & despite almost getting screwed in the colt's game(nice call on the interception by Troy) overcame everything & every team in their path. The Steelers winning percentage over the last three decades is among the highest in the league. Where do the Seaducks stack up in that department?

No, the seahawks did not get screwed. They were beat. The best team won. The Steelers made no mistakes. Seattle was beat by a long pass to by Big Ben to Hines on 3rd down play, by a great throw from WR Randle El, and the longest run in SB history by Willie Parker. Three big plays cost them the game, not the refs. I think we are all forgetting the 5 drops by the "soft" Seattle TE, and the missed FGs too. How about the clock mismanagement by Holmgren? Oh, did you see the block in the back on Big Ben when he threw the INT and seattle returned it for a TD? Well, I did and there was no penalty. The refs had some questionable calls, but in reality, they were the correct calls except for the one called on Hasselbeck on the INT he threw. It's easy to blame the refs. But it's not the real reason they lost. They were outplayed 3 times. Seattle needs to stop crying and move on.

No fluke,the STEELERS were the best team at the right time! All that coming off a season( Previous season)where they went 15-1 in the reg. season.

I don't think their season was a fluke, they were just a TEAM that got hot at the right time. The Colts and Bengals were better teams during the season but you have to give it to the Steelers because nobody played better during the playoffs than they did and this is coming from a lifetime Steeler Hater.

BULLCRAP! The Steelers DESERVE that Super Bowl! We are the most fricking awesome team in the NFL! At least we don't have screwed up players that are cocky and play dirty. We actually use TALENT to win our games. GO STEELERS!
