what is the movie "love actually" about? is it a good movie? i was thinking of buying it. is it good?

OMG... such a great movie! Yes you should buy it! It has several little stories going on but they all come together at the end (all the people, that is) They don't all know each other, but you see them all at the airport. We have this movie and I watch it sometimes just to hear the awesome accents (British - so cute) You will laugh so much... go buy it tonight... definitely one of the top 10 all time movies on my list. I love the opening scene too, almost brings tears to my eyes when he goes, "Love actually IS all around us..."
ok - I said WAY too much - but it really is a great movie :)

The incredible thing about this movie is that it is realistic. There are so many ups and downs with love. This isn't a fairytale. It isn't some movie where everyone ends up happy and rides off into the sunset. It deals with multiple intertwined stories dealing with death, puppy love, betrayal, heartbreak, undying love, risk, and just plain wonderful love. Not everyone gets a happy ending but when watching it, you accept it because that's what makes it so believable. Things that everyday people go through - the girl doesn't always get the guy and vice versa. ANYONE can relate to this movie!

This movie is the story of various relationships with some strong acting. It was kind of like a chick flick without the usual load of cheese. it was enjoyed by all the people in my household-male and female. We watched it more than once.

Many characters wanting love or falling in and out of love. Rent it and watch it twice.
