I have wondered this myself and concluded that because in the USA anyway the nation was founded by white people and white European descent people are still really the most powerful (the legacy from our history) that black men go for white women to feel part of the system. The irony is that they are going into a mixed racial relationship which I think still has some stigma attached but they feel accepted into the white race by doing it. White women aren't always prettier than black women. I didn't know that once they go white they don't go back. Guess they get hooked on white ways.

I asked my partner this question. He is a Black Jamaican and I am, yes, you guessed it, white!

He said that he dated a couple of black girls when he was younger, but could not handle the attitude and head shaking when they were trying to get their point across! LOL I know what he means as his sisters do it!

I have to disagree on the comment that white girls have no back bone! I wear the trousers, make all decisions, do what I want, when I want. Oh and we have been together over 10 years, and no kids! shocking huh that I am not a typical dumb blonde dating a black man cause it looks cool......
