Before you get all excited you need to think about where your life is going, because having a baby at 16 is nothing to be happy about. The easiest way to tell them is to sit them down and tell them straight out, but be prepared for them to be very angry, and you'll have some explaining to do.

There is no easy way to tell your parents...but you must find a way. They will prob get mad but they will get over it. I had my baby's father tell my mother. She was not happy but she dealt with it. I was 16 also. They may throw you out (depending on what kind of parents you have) or they may surprise you and be accepting of your situation and help you any way they can. Either way, you will get through it and so will your parents, esp when they get to see and hold their new grandchild.
My daughter is now 21 and about to give birth in a few weeks to my grandchild. I'm so excited! Good Luck to you!

Depends on your relationship with your parents. Do they know the guy? If so if they like him it'll be alot easier. Is he sticking around( even if not thinking marrage)? They best thing to do is sit down and talk to them. Sence your happy about it I would start with "Mom, Dad I have good news. I'm happy I hope you will be too.I'm having a baby." I would advice having a plan ready. Tell them your hopes and dreams and how they include the baby. Tell them how you plan to care and raise the baby.

There is no EASY way going about telling your parents that you are pregnant, but you will be fine. If you happy, that's great, but you have to remember that, that child will be #1 and nothing else... you can't care about anything else but that child. Your parents might panic, be angry, or maybe have no response... but everything will work out. Good luck and be strong!

Well, I hope you know what your life is headed. A baby is big responsibility and are you prepared to take care of a baby at your age. The only answer is just tell them. It's a shame that you haven't really evaluated your life before you made this decision. Babies are not cheap. I'm not being negative, I'm just being real.

well, 16 eh? i had a scare at 16 once. I just simply sat down with my mom and boyfriend and said, mom...i know you may be mad at me and want to kill me and john, but i might be pregnant. and yea she was a little pissed off (she didnt even know i wasnt a virgin)... mind u she went outside got on the phone and called her best friend and started bragging that she mgiht be a grandma...and when we found out after all kinds of ultrasounds and testing that i wasnt preg she actually cried...
what im saying is that you parents will probably be mad, but its a fact of life and they are going to have to deal with it.. ts not to late to abort so they may try to cnvince you... just stay calm and come straight out and tell them. Another idea is just writting them a note before you go to school and just put " dear mom and dad, i didnt know how you wold react so i wanted to be gone when you read this well, i hope your not mad but yuo guys arte going to be grandparents. im sorry if i dissapointed you and i know im young but i guess now it time for me to grow up, im not going to abort or pt it up for adoption...anywais we can talk more when i get home...love you both *(name) and sorry once again.

I had my first at 16 myself..and yes try not to stress yourself to much...i wrote a letter to my parents and left it for them and ran out the door to school..lol..but yes expect dissappointment...and maybe plan to stay out that whole day if possible so it can all soak in ...be prepared for tears and maybe some screaming but most parents will not disown you because of this..BUT goodluck and best wishes and hope all goes well ...if you want to chat feel free to email me !!

all you can do is tell them that your pregnant you have to be honest but what ever you do don't just spring it on them that is not fair. Tell them that you have something important to tell them and you need both of them and there attention. turn of the tv and make sure there is nothing to disturb you turn all phones off and take the house phone off the hook. This is very important and I can almost guarantee that you will just get started to tell them and the phone will go off. Good luck.

Since your so happy about it just tell them. Because I'm sure that later you wont be to happy about it that you'll be taking care of a baby while your friends have fun and can act like teens when you have to be a adult.
