I like this quiz. But it goes over many of the wives tales of boy or girl genders during pregnancy. It worked for me when i was pregnant with DD.

There's no off hand way to tell. Medically they can do an amniocentesis draw on you. It contains the babies cells and they can determine the sex from the DNA. Or they say you can tell by the heartbeat. The doctors say it is a old wives tale, but my mom predicted the sex of all 3 kids this way and was correct each time and when I was pregnant I told her the my babies heart rate she told me I was having a boy! Guess what? I have a 5 1/2 month old son. Girls have a higher heart rate 160ish and up and around 140-150 for boys.

OK, I can finally answer a serious question.
Ultrasound is the only "sure" way. Of course this is not always perfect.
Now, for something you can see. Look at your body. Are you growing more hair? Is the hair getting darker? Is the hair becoming course?
You see, hair growth is spurred by Testosterone (Think Hairy Men). Generally, if you notice unusual hair growth, you are probably carrying a boy.
Are you moody and depressed? Or, are you active and aggresive during your pregnancy? Active and aggressive... boy. Moody and depressed... girl. Again, this is the hormone thing.
Characteristics that make the mother "more masculine" indicate an elevated Testosterone level... an indicator of male conception.

No real way other than ultrasound or amnio. I was sick with my second and not my first, and both were boys. The heartbeat is a way of guessing. Girls have a slightly higher heartbeat 155-160 or so and boys lower 135-145??? but it is just a guess, too
Good luck!

I've found most of those 'old wive's tales' to be fairly worthless. I know this going to sound crazy, but the chart at the following link was actually accurate for all 5 of my children (But it was probably just a coincidence!)
http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/cal.html
Also, with my 2 boys, the heartbeat agreed with the old wives tale that says a boys heartbeat will be low (140 or lower) ... but that could also be coincidence.
Good luck, and congratulations!
By the way, I had morning sickness with each of my pregnancies (I've had 3 girls & 2 boys), and gained similar amounts with each one, too.

it rather is the two an ultrasound (the main secure option, yet additionally not particularly one hundred% precise) or DNA finding out on an amniocentisis (one hundred% precise yet does carry a average probability of miscarriage so that's generally reserved for those in probability for specific beginning defects or abnormalities consisting of downs syndrome). something is in simple terms an previous different halves' tale and has as a lot threat of being superb suited as flipping a coin or taking a wild wager. the way you carry relies upon on your physique, not regardless of while you're having a toddler.

The only way to really tell is through an ultrasound. Any other way is really unreliable, and has not actually been scientifically proven. It's fun to guess, though! I'm going to guess that you are having a girl.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I think that I am the same way. My fatigue is horrible, all I can say is just wait till the ultrasounds. Some people would be able to say what it is, but honey, when your best bet is the ultrasound...

when you start to show if your stomach sticks out in the front its most likely a boy if it is all around then most likely a girl. this isn't always true though. also if your having the exact opposite reactions to be pregnant this time to the first time its a good chance your having a different sex

Well there are tons of methods but 51% of babies born are male, so betting on a boy is the best bet .
But note that 51% of babies living at one year old are female.
