Is liberalism a mental disorder ???

Question

Like other disorders such as alcoholism, most suffering is experienced by those who have to live with the afflicted. Secondary suffering is incurred by a society which must live with the effects of the delusions of the afflicted.

Liberalism is a combination of a good heart & naivete. They see a need & think the problem can be solved by starting another big government program. These programs just put a drain on the government, as well as the taxpayers & in the long run, usually hurts those it was meant to help.

Actually, some conservatives also suffer from the same "disorder." It just manifests itself as "legistlating morality.". They believe they can correct an immoral situation by illegalizing it. But that just drives it further underground, a wonderful breading ground for even more immorality.

That's why I'm more of a Libertarian.

To answer your question I would have to say no. Liberalism is caused by pure ignorance. It is acceptable to a certain degree such as pro abortion, gun control, and pro enviroment. But when taken to the extreme it is shear stupidity. Anyone who fights for the rights of terrorists or compares America to Nazi's is simply a complete moron who doesn't pay attention to anything that goes on in the world.
