Dream on hon, it's not likely, that you will get a record deal.
There are millions of singers and wannabes in the US, many end up singing at weddings etc.
If you have the talent, you have to pay your dues, first local events, then clubs, if they will hire you, and work your way up the ladder.
That's why American Idol, and those other shows, are so popular, it can cut out a lot of that struggle. But so many try, so many more fail.
So if you really want to be successful, work at it, and see where your dream will lead you.
Just remember, it just doesn't happen that easily.

well first u need to find a recording studio, u might wanna hacve sum money b4 u do this buy some time at the recording studio make a demo then take a trip down to nyc and find sum important ppl (celebs) to listen to it...if they dont like it...ur screwed.....good luck!!

make urself known. record ur own cd, make lots a copies, give em out 2 evry body ........................ you gotta start small, maybe it'll pay off.
