I would like someone to quote me a price for this henna tattoo that I'd like to get on my upper back. (If it helps, I will be getting this done in Ocean City, MD, so the prices may be slightly inflated haha)

here's the link to the picture: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a166/deppfan08/412bre2.jpg

thanks a bunch !!

The price varies from place to place, and of course from artist to artist, but as a general guide:

Small Henna Tattoo, e.g. Japanese character usually costs £4 - £6 (€6 - €8 or $8 - $10)
Medium Henna Tattoo, e.g. Tribal Armband usually costs £10 -£15 (€15 - €20 or $20 - $25)
Large Henna Tattoo, e.g. Big Upper Arm Piece usually costs £25 - £30 (€40 – €45 or $50 - $55)

For larger designs and traditional Bridal Artwork, Henna Artists usually charge by the hour or by the day, prices include product used. Again, prices vary from place to place & artist to artist, but as a general guide:

An average hourly rate charged is £40 (€60 or $75)
An average daily rate charged is £200 (€300 or $375)

The tattoo you are asking will cost about 10$.

Of the prices that I've seen for Henna tattoos, I would just rather get a real tattoo than one that'll be washing off in a week to pay the amount that they want. Your best bet, would to be to go around to a few Henna places, and check out their prices...and see if maybe one of the people there will bargain with you on the amount if you feel its' too high.

Never use black henna with checmicals called ppds. Do a search for ppd henna and read up, bad stuff. Go to easyhenna.com to find out about black henna. You can have this done to you by a friend and just pay for the henna kit. Shopbeachcombers.com has stuff called henna tattoo transfer paper that will allow to trace a design onto your skin and then you can trace the design with henna. Its like making your own stencil. Go to their website and do a search for transfer paper.

The cost of the kit is similar to the cost of getting it done and you get natural henna from them. You can not get it black like in your picture though with henna. It will be a dark brown. Only a real tattoo or stage makeup can get it black and still be safe.

That tattoo is not henna. The lines are too fine.(if it is, then the pens are finer than we had)
The tattoo will have to be done larger to accommodate the fineness of the lines.

If your getting it done in black henna( which is never all natural no matter what anybody tells you) the priced could varry.
One booth I worked at would charge $20.00 cdn another 35.00 ish.(but that was in a tourist trap)

It's rather small so maybe 7-10 dollars

I got mine done in florida and I got a big scorpion with these cool designs and it was 20 dollars. It depends if you go to someone who does it for a living or just out of there house too. Usually if they do it for a living they will be cheaper than people who do it out of there house

And try not to tan there, you can just if you do when the tattoo fades, you will have a big tan line in the shape of the tattoo.

It doesn't bother a lot of people but to some it does.

Hmmm well the picture is kinda cute, but whats a Henna Tattoo?? Is it new? I've never heard of it, I have a tattoo of the puerto rican flag on my lower back, but its a regular tattoo, its colored. But Henna? never heard of it.
But lemme know if you know what it is, they're coming out with all kinda crazy new tattoo stuff like the glow in the dark, but yea definitely lemme know, cuz i honestly never heard of it ♥
