can but I dont believe it because you have to be ovulating and that takes a while after a period correct?? What are the exceptions???

It happend to me and the doctor said it could not..it did..
I had an abortion

Well pregnancy isn't some some frivolous occurence that happens randomly, there's science to it.

If you are on a regular cycle, you ovulate about 7 days after your period ends, in other words 14 days from day 1 of your period. If you're irregular, then that's a whole other situation.

If you're irregular than, yes you could become pregnant right after your period if you had very short cycles, longer cycles would mean you would ovulate (be at risk of pregnancy) more than 7 days after the end of your period.

I was told that you can get pregnant 3 days before,during and 3 days after your period.

I got pregnant twice on my period so I would say yes anything can happen.
