This was charged to my checking account-$49.94 I do not know what it is.

I don't know what it is either. But I think it's fraud. Something similar happened to me once. I called the bank and they straightened it out and sent me a new card. If I were you, I'd go and withdraw as much cash as you need for the next two weeks or so, and then call the bank and get them to send another card. Call them as soon as you can, though. They might give you the third degree or something, asking questions like "Are you sure you didn't order anything online?" They ask that because some websites get third parties to collect money for them. Just be sure you didn't incur the charge and you should be OK. I think this usually happens on a large scale, so you probably won't be the only one to call the bank. I doubt you did anything to cause anyone to get your debit card info, because I did not. Also, card data gets stolen on a large scale occasionally. It's often on the news. Good luck!
