If you were a terrorist...YES, A TERORIST...what would you have acomplished by blowing up multiple airlines en route from London to US, that you couldn't acomplish by just detonating and blowing yourself up in a large crowd...where there are more people and more to kill ??
Does terrorism in the sky symbolize something?
Is the goal to bankrupt the US, and a good start is to start with airlines?
...why go thru all the trouble to do this in the sky???

Terrorist = Coward. They do things to specifically kill innocents rather than fight in open combat. But that's towel-heads for ya.

It is to show the other terrorist groups their superiority. Since it was
probably alqaida and they haven't done anything in a while. Alqaida
and Hezbollah are enemies. They only agree on hating the US
and Israel. It is also more impressive and they can kill more people
than with a car bomb. Look at 911! It is also to hurt us economically.
They want to get rid of us, not just hurt us.

You are wrong about the number who would die. Each airplane would have 350 passengers and all would die. That is a lot more than in any crowd.
