How can I tell if someone is gay?
I don't want to offend him by asking him, because it might hurt his feelings if he is not gay. Everyone at my school thinks he is but I am not sure, sometimes I think he might but sometimes I think he is not. He acts a little sissy and stuff. How do I know for sure? I think he cares about me but I don't know how I feel about him because everyone thinks he is gay. I don't want to like someone who dosen't like me.

Look prcoley, that second question you wrote I deleted it thank you. This is a serious question. And my questions were out of curiosity, not hatred. I will say it one more time, go answer someones question that wants your rude stereotypical answers.

It is hard to tell sometimes.....in High School I was pretty much left alone by both guys and girls . Here's what I would do .....Ask this guy to meet you at an out of the way place....such as a diner or the library. When he agrees to this...at the time you meet start with a little small talk don't just blurt the question....work up to it....when you are both comfortable then ask . chances are you will get an honest answer for your question.

You can be his FRIEND whether he is gay or straight or something in between. If he asks you out, he's probably straight. But if you're concerned more about what people think that what is real, maybe you should just find somebody who doesn't act "a little sissy and stuff."

If you are close to the person or talk to them alot just come out and ask. Do you like guy or gals. If he acts hurt or gets mad tell him someone told you he was gay and you wanted to know cause you liked him. Saying like could mean 2 differnt things...Just ask

Just because someone acts sissy doesn't mean they are gay. Gay men act like men. Not all act like a female or have female ways about them.

wow, she seems like a jerk and from her Q's, she's a real hypocrite.
about your guy friend...
just get to know him... he may just a shy boy... there's nothing gay about that. maybe he was raised primarily by his mom, that could explain a few "sissy" traits
then again, he may be gay. there's nothing really bad about him if he is. he'll just be a little different than what you hoped for. he may still make an excellent friend.
