I think that an interesting topic is new (teenage) driver's and how the statistics show that new drivers that talk on their cell phones are just as dangerous as drunk- drivers! There are a lot of articles on the internet about this topic...try something like "teen driver's and cell phone use". Good luck!!

How about the conjoined twin girls that just had the operation to be separated. What made them unique was that they had to wait until they were four because they shared a kidney or something like that. They each have only one leg now, but Iare doing well. http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/08/08/conjoined.twins.ap/index.html

Cuba and Castro, that's huge right now. Something you may end up telling your grandchildren about. You can take it from many points of view and how it may influence people's lives if he dies.
