i wouldn't worry about what other people say too much. you know who you are and that's all that should really matter. maybe talk to your friends and ask them why they say that about you and just talk. talking things out really help. believe me.

Just a suggestion, but try looking at yourself from the outside, like seeing yourself as your friends see you, and try to see if there's maybe something you're unconsciously doing that is making them feel like they are or have less than you. It might even be some small quirk that you're not aware of. Ask them why they say that, and what makes them think that way. If they're true friends, they should be able to be open and honest with these things about you.

Tell them that you are not rich, and that your parents work hard for the money that you do have, and that you spend it wisely and that y'all may not go out to eat a lot, but tend to take big vacations/
Tell them that each family chooses to spend their money on different things, and y'all like to buy clothes or nice cars etc..
If this doesn't help..tell them that your dad made some good decisions on his stock investments..
(this happened to my husband! )

Tell them not to hate! It's not bad if you are rich! Count your blessings.

I think they are jealous of your high-class composure. I think they mistaken your confidence with I-am-rich-and-better-than-you -so-go-away energy so you should turn it off and apply a thick coat of hello-I-am-a-nice-classy-girl- and-I-am-sincere-and-humble paint!

your friends must be insecure. is not your fault that your parents might be more financially stable than theirs. is all jelousy and if they can't accept you. then find some that will love you for you.
