Not all fire is. The color of the flame depends on the chemical composition of the material that is burning, and the amount of oxygen the fire is getting.
I've personally seen blue, purple, and green fires, and suspect that other colors are easy to create.

The color of the flame is the visible emitted energy. The whiter the flame the hotter it is. In simple words, the color reflects on the frequency of the radiate energy which determines the intensity of the radiation.
Some of the energy is invisible to human eye.
Pure elements have their characteristic colors. In fact "flame tests" are commonly have been used to identify the elements.
Today we mostly use the spectroscope.
The common flame is a mixture of elements. So specific flame color depends on what is exactly that you are burning

That's the color you get when you burn sulpher. It's really the amount of sulpher in the air that determines the intensity of the red - orange - yellow.
