I think homebirths are better. How about you? (We couldn't financially afford any more homebirths- insurance doesn't pay for it so we had to go to the hospital)

I have only had 1 hospital birth. I was induced, and it hurt sooo much that I had to have the epidural. Before going into the hospital, I was very scared. For the young, brave, and no risk pregnancy, a home birth is a wonderful thing. I would rather have gone to a birthing center. I was not sure about the home birth thing. I think it is great, if you can do a home birth. It just wasn't for me. Although, I did not like the hospital at all.

I've had one unmedicated hospital birth (fired a doc in labor).
I've had one waterbirth in a freestanding birth center with a MW.
I'd had one home waterbirth with a midwife.
If I could go back and do it all again, I'd have them all at home in the birthtub with a midwife. Our homebirth was amazing, empowering, relaxed, beautiful, romantic....WONDERFUL!

Home births are far better! I just had my first at home and I will never do anything else! Hospitals are just so dangerous!

Home births are good, if you've had a healthy pregnancy and a good midwife.
