Some nice answers.

DC

QB- Mr. Terrific (Beerhero you are right!)
RB- Flash (Barry Allen)
WR-Plastic man, Flash (Jay Garrick)
TE- Superman. Can block or catch passes and run.
OL- Blok, Colossal Boy (Micro Lad), Green Lantern (gets called for holding alot), Blockbuster
C- Ultra-Humanite

Defense (3-4 Defense)
LB- Doomsday, Wildcat, Hawkman, Hyena
DB- Impulse, Firestorm, Wonder Woman , Cheetah
DE- Captain Comet, Captain Marvel
NG- Solomon Grundy

Kicker- Val Armor

Coach- Deathstroke.
Water Boys- Marvin, Snapper Car

Marvel

QB- Capt America
FB- Juggernaut
RB- Flash Thompson (duh)
WR- Quicksilver, Silver Sabre
TE- WonderMan, Vision (soft hands when he needs them!)
OL- Thing, Colossus, Stonewall, Blob
C- Cyclops (fastest block after the snap...ever!)

Defense (4-3 Defense)
LB- Wolverine, Conan, Cannonball
DE- Rhino, Luke Cage
DT- Hulk, Sasquatch (he played pro ball!)
DB- Nightcrawler, Spiderman, Dr. Octopus, Mr. Fantastic
Shadowkat (can penetrate the DL on the corner blitz)

K- Gorgon

Kick Return- Longshot

Coach- Xavier,
Def Coor- the Thinker
Mascot- Bizarro (who else is he going to cheer for?)

Marvel takes an early lead as Longshot breaks the opening kickoff for a TD. Later, behind the blocking of Juggernaut, they go up by 2TDs.

Marvel's defense is stifling, as Mr. Terrific struggles to complete a pass over the reach of Doc Oc and Mr. Fantastic. Nightcrawler plays a great half, always there before Flash (Allen) can round the corner and head upfield.

Halftime- Marvel 14, DC-0

*A critical decision is reached by the commissioner at halftime: Doc Octopus cannot use his arms, and GL cannot use his ring.

Substitions include:
Gorilla Grodd for GL
Abomonation goes in as LB, and Cannonball moves to Strong Safety

In the 2nd half, Doomsday evolves and becomes a tackling machine. He lays out both Juggernaut and Wonderman, the latter causing a fumble, which Impulse recovers for a defensive TD.

Marvel 14, DC 7

Wolverine hits Jay Garrick out of bounds and receives boos from the crowd.
On the next play, Conan clips Superman (who hams it up) and the penalties give DC momentum to move down the field field. Val Armor Kicks the FG

Marvel 14, DC 10

Longshot comes in to QB for a series of plays after W Woman nails Capt America on a blindside blitz, and he manages to get Marvel down inside the 10 yard line. A holding penalty on Blob keeps them from the endzone, and Gorgon kicks the FG

Marvel 17, DC 10

DC comes alive late, as Nightcrawler is fooled on a fumblerooski and gets sick by teleporting himself and Colossal Boy. Meanwhile, Flash (Allen) vibrates through the reach of Mr. Fantastic and breaks one for the score.

Marvel 17, DC 17

Marvel starts to drive in the final minutes, but a freak lighting storm comes up from Weather Wizard. Game called.

Well, For Marvel the quarterback would be Captian America, years of shield throwing would make him an excellent pigskin thrower. Wideouts would be Spiderman, there is an old issue of Web of SPidreman where he was wideout in a local kid pickup game. The other wide-out would be IronFist, his fist of Iron would not falter over witha speeding pass down the middle. The O-line would noit include Hulk, suspended for Gamma-Steriod use. So the line of Thing, Colossus, Luke Cage, She-Hulk and Medusa, yes two females I know but Medusa's wild head of heair would cause fits with rushing defenses. Running back would be QuickSilver for his speed...but he is old Tightend would be Hawkeye, and the Fullback could be Beast with his atheltic ability and leaps yet strength to make a hole.
Wolverine and Vision would anchor the defense.
IronMan would coach.

On the DC side.

Mr. Terrific is the quarterback. He is the perfect example of a sharp mind, great abilities. His O-Line would include WonderWomen, PowerGirl, Aquaman, BoosterGold and Captain Marvel.
Flash is the Runningback. No excplanation needed. Tightend would be Green Lantern. The Fulback would be the tough as nails and good with his hands Wildcat. The wideouts would be Superman, I mean he has the strength to play line, but you know he has sure hands to. Nightwing the handy, strong quick hero would take the other wideout spot.
The defense would be anchored by guys like Steel, Martain MANHUNTER and Beastboy.
Batman would coach

Needless to say this would be quite the matchup, However I would say Marvel because the X-men are always playing sports out on the yard of Xavier's estate and the experience would tip the scales to the side of Marvel.

For Marvel:

QB: You'd need a natural leader, and I'd say Capt. America is a good chice there.

Off Line: Here's where the big boys come out, Hulk, Thing, Sabertooth, I'd slip Galactus in here but he wouldn't fit in the field. I'm not a big marvel fan, but for the quickness we'd have to throw in Quicksilver, maybe silver surfer.

DC: QB is easy, Batman. Why? Because he can read the defense like no other and adjust as necessary.

Linemen: You've got some real brutes in the DC World, Superman, Capt. Marvel, Wonder Woman, Doomsday, Black Adam. Bizarro, Power Girl. More than a fair fight for the Marvel Brutes.

For the Quickness: You've got a few Flashes to choose from, and in my opinion Flash has always been faster than quicksilver. I'd consider the Green lantern for a reciever, after all with the power ring, he can catch it from anywhere.

I think it would be a good match, but I'd give it to DC.

Marvel:

QB: gotta go with Cap on this one too...natural leader.
HB: go with Quicksilver for the speed and go with Wolverine for short yardage.(no pun intended)
FB: gonna go with Sandman here...think of the ability to block when he puts those big sand blocks on his hands.
WR: Spiderman, Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic
TE: going with Wonderman here.
O-Line: Hulk, Thing, Thanos, D-Man, and Giant Man

DC: QB: gotta go with Bats here...again smart as a whip and a natural leader.
HB: Flash or Impulse
FB: going with Supes on this one...blocking ability and a good speed burst for short yardage up the gut.
WR: Martian Manhunter, Superboy, Wonder Woman (she can fly after all and the lasso come on), anf Green Lantern
TE: going with Grunge from Gen13...after the huge trade with Image to aquire the Wildstorm players. 2nd TE would be Fairchild too.
O-Line: Killer Croc, Doomsday, Bane, ClayFace( the big blobby looking one), and Captain Marvel
