I can't believe that this movie was actually made. Should they be aloud to make such a movie, is this fair to the families of all the innocents who lost their lives in this tragic event? What do you think

Well if it hurts the victims of 9/11, then they shouldn't see it. They do have a CHOICE. Ya know? I really hope you're talking about World Trade Center. The two people who the whole movie is about, don't think that it is too soon. I think we need to see it before we forget all of the different stories. This is just one. There are hundreds.

Are we talking about the 9/11 movie? If so, I agree that it's in bad taste for hollywood to take such a tragic event, that is still so recent to most of us and exploit it. Especially with a **** actor like Nicolas Cage. It just shows that they don't care about humanity, just making another buck. They should take the profits for that movie and donate it to the families that have to suffer through watching the commercials everyday.

I think your talking about the 9 11 movie. If you are, I really don't think it should have been made as a movie for entertainment purposes. As a Documentary, maybe. I know if any of my family or friends had died in the 9 11 tragedy, I would not appreciate the making of such a movie, nor would I view it.

I'm kinda on the fence with this one. First, I've yet to watch the movie so unable to give you a definite answer.
On the other, Hollywood's been known to cash in on other people's misfortunes; it's nothin' new, really.
Havin' said that, the families whose loved ones are lost in this tragedy have the choice to not watch the movie & boycotting it.
I do see it as an honor in tribute to the lives lost though. The movie may serve as a lesson to educate the next generation the same way history tells our origins & to further understand our place in this world.

They have made movies about Pearl Harbor and the Holocaust, have you complained on those?

Movies aren't just entertainment, they're also a form of communication. They can be used to future generations that weren't here when it happened, and instead of it just being a boring documentary, movies can put more emotions into it and people know.
If people chose to forgot all their tragedies, there would be no advance.

I assume your speaking of the new movie World Trade Center. It is great because it puts people through the experience again and it helps people to not forget what happened and it can be used in the future for teaching kids what happened. It is also sort of a tribute to everyone who died.

I think this was a major event in U.S. history.
Many movies have been made about events/wars/tragedies in foreign countries.
I think that this movie will document and educate everyone as to the extent of the loss and suffering our people endured.
I think it had to be done.

Assuming you're talking about the 9-11 movie, I'd disagree.
I think they needed to tell the story of all the heroes. Hopefully, it's been done in good taste.

I think your talking about the 9-11 movie (World Trade Center)
I agree the things Hollywood does for money is absurd. The movie will be sad and dreary , how could one say that it is a good movie, This disgusts me

They made movies about WWII. Why not. The families don't have to see the movie if they don't want to. From what I've heard, this is a very uplifting movie.
