I am not saying that I cannot 'stand' someone or their attitiude. My pain is not in middle back.

Have you gotten checked for Spinal Stenosis.
This means the holes that your nerves come out on on either side of your spine are closing off, from arthritis, or for some other reason. This pinches on your nerves, and can cause pain with walking and or standing... You actually get relief by leaning forward.
The question is what is causing these muscle spasms. I would suggest making sure you are all a "ok" with all of your lab work, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc..
Also running a thyroid screen just in case.

Just like Chapaton said, something is causing the muscle spasms. That is what you need to find out. How do you know your spine is fine? Have you been to a Dr? Have you had any tests run?Are you sure these are muscle spasms?
There is a time and place for physical medicine and this sounds like one. If you haven't been to the Doc, I suggest you go. If $$ is a problem, go to a county clinic. After you get a diagnosis you can go from there. At least that would rule out some things.
In the meantime, you might want to try an Epsom Salt soak in warm water. You could also go to a good massage therapist for some relief.

If you spine is fine then it means your probably ok, but if you want to stop it from giving you this pain you should do some more exersize and do some stretches every moring so your muscles are not so stiff. Muscle spasms and pains are normally caused by the lack of exersize.

I had similar, serious problem. Get your dr. to send you to a qualified physio therapist who can then teach you some appropriate exercises for the lower back. You must be disciplined and follow thru with this - I can vouch for it, because I' off painkillers and am very much fitter overall

I do not understand the comment about attitudes. What does that have to do with you?
