I am honest.
Some think it's mean.
The truth can hurt.

I'd rather be nice, that's what I try to be. I have had my moments though, when that was suspended. Sometimes you just can't indulge in the more civil way of pursuing an interest. If and when these occasions arise I can be ruthless and without remorse. Responsibility to the greater good comes at a price for any that would take upon themselves the standards and ethics that govern us. It is bigger than any one person, if you believe in what your doing as correct and right then you can not let your own desire to let something go interfere with what must be addressed. It's not easy to do, some may see it as mean; but duty and honour; let alone your word in oath; these thing are who you are.

I try to please God, but unfortunately I fall short too often. Being "nice" is in the eye of the beholder. Dicipline is a form of love when your motives are pure. Showing mercy, acts of kindness, these are all ways to be "nice" in the long run. I hope that the things I do have an eternal impact on others for the good.

Depends on the situation and who is involved alot of people think I'm nice, then there is a faction of people who think I'm mean. You do what you have to do in whatever circumstances you're in I guess.

I would say I'm nice. It takes too much energy to be mean, just like it takes more muscles to frown than to smile.
So, why be mean?
