We will be in Germany for 2 years and I am completely addicted to these shows. Is there any way to get American TV through Sattelite or cable? So far i've had no luck with asking American Cable/Internet Companies and Slingbox only works with Computers so I couldn't tape the shows in the middle of the night in Germany (time change). I'd really appreciate some help.

This is important to me since I don't speak any German so please only answer if you have a possible solution. Thanks.

Are you military? If so you can get an AFN Decoder so you can get American channels, this is if you live off-post. If you live on-post then you'll get the basic AFN channels for free. We get reality shows a day after they are shown in the States If you are not military, then you can get a SKY satellite, it's British and they show a lot of the American shows, I'm not sure about the two you listed though, but maybe. Or you can become friends with someone in the military and they can have you over on those nights to watch those shows. What part of Germany are you going to? I've been here for 6 years now. There's lots to do, we spend a lot of time outside and don't even end up watching some of our favorite tv shows.

AXN is all "action" shows, or that's what they say, and the Survivors they show are the old seasons. But Channel 5 shows more current shows, like CSI, etc.

Answer is 'yes!' When you go to TKS at you local PX, you will need to register to have cable installed. Once you have cable, view the British channels. There is a channel called AXN, the Action Network. Here you will find all the newest releases of TV shows, like CSI, Desperate Housewives, Survivor and the Race. have fun in Germany, I have been here for over 3 years!

I surely have 500 channels of satellite tv for pc television and there are in basic terms some Brittish shows on. maximum are spanish shows. I do get BBC u . s . of america yet I dont watch it because of the fact i discover the shows on it to be previous. There are communicate shows like Jeremy Kyle and Trisha Goddard with American visitors. and you all could have Piers Morgan back. Pleeease take him back hes certainly one of these dud.

I am sorry, but the only way would be probably downloading it from the Internet. Some TV shows are available for download at http://www.tv.com (you can download it to the iTune). As with others, well, ahm, the way is to use file-sharing, but I'm not sure if it is advisable.
