IPOD is a fad. and its a dumb one. get the psp. the guys at sony are genuises, but maybe it has somethin to do with the fact that i helped them....hm...maybe. =) anyways. get the psp. games, movies, videos, music, pictures,GPS (soon), internet, camera (soon), interaction with the PS3, and alot more is planned that the masses don't know about (trust me). u cant play games and get on the internet and watch movies on an ipod. maybe u can, but u'd have to waste the time downloading it, and dont waste ur life downloading stuff on an ipod, its not worth it. the ipod doesnt have a gps coming out, and it doesnt have a camera for it thats coming out soon. the PSP does! go with the psp, u wont regret it, ipod is dumb and worthless when compared to the supreme capabilities of the Sony PSP. if u have any questions, email me

and yes, the psp has a much better screen than the ipod. also, u need earphones for the ipod. the psp has speakers in it, so u dont have to hassle with tangled wires.

I say iPod. Only if you are willing to pay a lot for a PSP. The system brand new costs $200. Add another $50.00 for a 1gb memory stick, and $35-50 for games if you wish to purchase. I had a PSP myself, and ended up selling it on eBay after only owning ot for 2 months. Also the iPod is compact and has a more sexier look. If you want to carry a PSP everytime you want to use it as portable music and be my guest! P.S.- Ipods can play movies like the PSP too. Only buy it if you have money and is interested in video games.

I vote iPod. iPods hold more music for less money, have better battery life, are smaller and slightly better built (Although, hardware-wise, they're both buggy, poorly put together crap). Sony has the gaming factor, but overall a decent at best selection and the battery for gaming only lasts three hours with crappy load times (Something not at all optimal for on the go gaming).

Note: In order to get about a gig of music on an PSP, you need a $100 Memory Stick on top of the $250 for the PSP itself. An iPod video costs $300 and holds thirty gigs.

Def. the classic plus a psp. you incredibly only go with the ipod for the music, real? With the psp, then you definately can play a ton of video games, plus have your music. The ipod touch isn't that great.

PSP does everything an iPod does and more. Depends what you like more. Music or games. The PSP can hold 4GB of music, video and pictures. But it plays games. The ipod holds 60GB of music, videos, and pictures, but ut has games like solitare and parachute.

iPod all the way. You can do more with it and it holds more. It's smaller, and you don't have to carry anything else with you to make it work. Sync it with a Mac or PC and go. It's so sleek, so simple, so beautiful. And it won't die on you in the middle of a flight like my boss' PSP does.
