My names Aaron and im 16. Iv been going out with a girl whos 17 and I really like her. Like just when im around her I am happy and I feel the best iv ever felt. Now iv had other girlfriends whos relationships have lasted alot longer but theyve never felt anything like this. Now the 2nd time we had went out we talked for ever and I do remeber her saying that she didnt really want to get in to a relationship becuse she doesnt "feel" ready. It seemed like everything that we had done, talked about, and did were great so i assumed that everything was going great. I had called her and asked her out to the movies or somthing like that this weekend. She said she had been thinking for a while and said in her exact words "It just wouldnt of worked out because of how im feeling..." Now I am hopeing that if I wait for things to cool off that she will want to go out agian.
Now the main questions I have is If I wait for things too cool off with the relationship work out.

A guy I was seeing in March felt that way about when I told him I wasn't ready for a relationship either. It apparently bothered him, and a week later he tried harder, we went out again and he kissed me and bleh. I turned hiim down again. But a few days later, something shifted in me and suddenly I wanted to have a chance with him. His persistance is what won me over though. BUT, it's seriously best to back away when someone says they're not ready. Sure, you may never date her again, actually, but... if that doesn't happened, then it wasn't meant to be.

She told you in the beginning that she did not want a relationship. She has told you as nice as possible that she doesn't want to be with you.

wait untill she's ready to come back into the dating scene,and don't date any other girls untill she's ready-that way she'll know you're serious and you care.

I don't think that she really likes you, otherwise she wouldn't be feeling the way she is...... if you really like someone you wouldn't have second thoughts about wanting to date them!!

i think you should hang around for few months...maybe about 3..so she can see you're not shady. and maybe then she'll give you a chance...if she doesnt move on...her loss.
