I cant really do it on here but im sure some of you know what i am talking about. Here ill try. The beat goes something like da, da da da, da, da-da-da. Ok that might not help but someone tell me how those who listen to it stand it. Its annoying especially when many songs have the same dumb beat in the background. My neighbor was listening to music, i dont know if it was a cd or what, but every song and yes they were all different songs, had that same beat. You might as well listen to one song. Does this show that they latinos are really lacking in talent when it comes to the hip hop stuff? Hip hop in my opinion is horrible and talentless anyhow but this is a new low

No SCREW YOU Duena chica biotch. Reggaeton sucks. Its the same **** over and over. Every song is basically the same song. But if you like talentless bull sh it then keep listening to it. I was just asking what the deal is with it and why cant they be more frickin creative

It may have been Raggaeton - I personally love it, but it does tend to be repetitive.
There only about 3 really good bands and that may be why you get sick of it. Everyone is playing those same songs - haha.
I have about 20 of them on my Ipod.

It's called Reggeaton.
And yes, it does have the same back beat. It can be annoying if that is all you can hear. Get closer! This is really great music! It is a blast to dance to! The rhythms on top of that back beat are quite varied, and come from all sorts of Latino music... Salsa, Cumbia, etc.
If you don't like Rap or Hip Hop, You are not going to like Reggeaton. But, open your mind a little. Just because you are not familiar with something does not make it bad.
You sound like my parent's did when they were complaining about Big Band getting destroyed by this "Horrible new Rock & Roll, by that no talent Elvis person."
I am not Latino, but I love Reggeaton... as well as Opera Classical, Alternative, World Beat, Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz etc....
My advice. Lighten up - Enjoy new things. Try some music from THIS millenium!!!

Yeah it's reggaeton music that is the ****** **** right therr u kno u like dat type of music...lol and anyways it is not the same beat it's different if you listen to a lot of reggaeton songs the beat is different...and to say that the beat sounds the same means you are ignorant...so yeah lol and we latinos are ****** TIGHT with our music!!!!!

I don't think all latinos don't have talent. I could say the same thing for whatever genre you listen too. Theres always generic crap in every genre. Plus hip-hop isn't bad, at least the original hip-hop in the early 80's made people who were actually expressing themselves. Now, along with everyother new genre its just mindless crap spoiled kids (with no purpose in life) listen to.

reggaeton and screw you reggaeton is hott dont knock it if you havent tried it! I as a matter of fact happen to love reggaeton its a lot better than that hip hop garbage those black rappers spew. A lot of reggaeton is love songs with hot beats. Dont hate on reggaeton. Those reggaeton artist have a lot more damn money than you do pal. They are very talented as well.

Lots of Spainish songs have similar rythms, but their not ALL the same, it just might have been the particular CD your neighbor was listening to.
