Very good pressure actually. The " perfect " pressure is 120/80 so you're very close.

Many such schools use a combination contract, release form and say don't worry about the blanks; we can just fill them in later and just sign this after filling in the top portion. I used this form but zero out and line out everything if it is a trial lesson or a set time frame and those lines are filled in before a person signs and those areas are initialed by me. That's my name at the bottom and my reputation on the line and I care about that. Unfortunately some don't and so they urge potential students to leave things blank and then the student gets a surprise later. Don't do it or go for that and you fill in the blanks if they won't of don't and get a copy of it before going onto anything else. They will often hit you with the idea that its the last week of their special enrollment package. While it sometimes is they usually run them every other month or every quarter. Another tactic is signing you up but then the class you saw them teaching is not the ones you usually are in. They instead have some under belt teaching or some black belt that is two to three years into training and loves having their ego stroked and gets off on the power and authority he holds over beginner students. Ask for a copy of the class schedule and ask that instructor to circle the classes he teaches because those are the ones you want to go to. When I had my large school and twenty-five classes per week 85% of those classes were taught by me because I take pride in my students and my reputation and the quality of things. Money guys usually don't and will only teach a fraction of their class schedule while they laugh all the way to the bank as others teach for free for them. It pays to shop and take your time and if they are a good instructor and want you as a student they will try to meet you half way in accommodating you so take your time and shop around.

That would depend. What is your normal blood pressure? If it's an elevation of more than 15 points over your normal, then it needs to be checked.
Are you pregnant? If you are, then the diastolic of 86 is borderline high. There is a condition in later pregnancy called pre-eclampsia that is characterized by elevated BP, hyper reflexes, headaches, protein in the urine, and if untreated, can lead to seizures in the mother and possible loss of the baby.

Actually No, the perfect blood pressure is no longer 120/80. We are trying to get our patients to understand that we really would rather shoot just a little bit under that at 110/70.
If you hit 130 systolic or 90 diastolic that means that you are prehypertensive.
Your blood pressure is considered normal.
You would have to have an elevated BP x's 3, on 3 separate occasions, a high BP when pregnant, or a BP measured at 200/120 one time.

i have to disagree with every single answer i just read!!! there is no such thing as a perfect blood pressure .. sure there is ranges that are related to age, sex, ethnicity. hopefully most healthy ppl fall into those ranges. its impossible to say if the BP u gave is healthy. atleast without knowing yr age,sex etc. BP is different in every individual and every time u have yr BP taken it should vary!! BP can also be varied by many contributing factors such as fitness levels, medication, medical conditions etc etc
this reading may just be 'normal' for yrself! without 2 or more readings you cant get a baseline of yr BP. so i suggest if your worried have yr BP repeated if its around the same as yr previous reading then chances are thats yr baseline BP!

No the lower # is diastolic and anything under 90 is excellent!!!!!
Upper # or systolic is normal to be 120, but if under stress the systolic # can go up and indicates no problems.
Perfect BP is 120/80. Yours is fine

Its perfect. 120/80 is normal. Anything under 140/90 is normal.
let me rephrase that......anything under 140/90 and above 110/60 is within normal limits. If your BP is higher than that or lower than that, you should see a doc.
