Yes, I went to high school with one. He wore the tight jeans, cowboy hat, and boots everyday. He also got his a** kicked everyday too.

Kinda/sortof. I've met black guys who were "western" in their clothes/mannerisms, but the racist part of the hillbilly/redneck stereotype's not the same obviously. Most of em I've known were "good ole boys" in the literal sense. The down to earth attitude without the bigotry.

OK, first, DONT go to Georgia and walk around. I tried that and most of them just plain old dont like white people from california. Second, go to the Jeff Foxworthy test i.e. if your indoor furniture is now your outdoor furniture, you might be a red neck..... there are lots of examples of non racial behaviour that indicate a hick disposition. My dad was from Oklahoma and my mom is from up country NY - I am constantly looking at the old sofa and thinking it would be fabulous in the front yard - except it clashes with the daisys....

I've lived in the South. There are definitely black country folks. Go to rural Georgia and walk around.

I imagine there would be. I'm white on the outside, but I consider myself kinda black on the inside if that makes any sense. So I'm quite sure there are people out there who can blow away the stereotypes.

no, it's a slanderous and offensive term created for white people exclusively. it's wrong and ignorant to use such terms.
