i have been in a relationship for over 2 years. i love my boyfriend and he is the one. yet i am only 14 years old. we're pretty much married, without the sex. we've done everything else, and everyone that knows us thinks we've had sex, and i want to. but i feel like we're too young. anyone else have opinions????

I think that it is wonderful that you have been in a relationship for a long time BUT you are fare from married, you dont have the bills and the kids and both of you are to young to get a job, there are so many adult things that you dont have to worry about now. You are still very young and you need to enjoy your time as a teenager, you will be grown up before you know it. Sex is something that should be very special between two people and you will ALWAYS remember your first time whether it be good or bad. Dont rush the sex part there should be so much more to a relationship then that. If you yourself are have second thoughts and you think you are to young then that means that you are not ready. It needs to be right for YOU not everyone around you, it will happen soon enough, dont worry about it.

Enjoy the relationship but keep the sex out of it until you are much older, 17 or 18 at least. When you finish high school things will change and this hot love you now have will more than likely be lost in the shuffle. It is easy to feel the person you have is the right one because you have not learned much about life. Each stage of your life you will learn different values and change your picture of the perfect man. The guy you think is right now has not entered the job market or formed his career goals. That will change the way the two of you interact. Just enjoy his company and let time work things out. Sex is not that important at your age. Purity is better than regretting what happened after the fact.

Don't do it. I was the same when I was 14, and yes i thought i was in love too. Me and the guy i was with were together for about 2 1/2 years. We did have sex and about a year later he started to change and so did I. In other words it didn't work out as i thought. I mean he even asked me to marry him. Boy was i dumb. Now im 21 & married with a 2 yr old son. I think you should just wait until your older until you understand things a lot more. You may think your in love now and that he is the only one for you but people change and so will you.

Definitely too young to have sex at 14. There is much more to life than sex at your age. Seriously, what happens if you end up having sex and you get pregnant? What if he ends up not loving you as much now that he got in your "pants". Hey this stuff happens. It seems like you enjoy your friendship with him now so why rock the boat? And besides what I already mentioned. It is illegal and you and he can both be prosecuted by the law if anyone was to say anything to the authorities. Don't do it.

If you are asking this question then you are to young. Personally I started at a young age b/c of peer pressure, although I am a lot older now I do regret to giving myself time to grow mentally, b/c s not ready for such a big step. And you two are not pretty much married b/c despite what you think you are only 14 and marriage take a lot of work

I definitely think that 14 is too young... you have too much of ur life left, if u are in a strong relationship it can last without the sex.... you don't want to end up with somethin that you didn't want, {a baby, or stds!!!}, because once you've got it there's no turning back!!!! so wait, u don't want to mess up ur life on one decision that you made when you were only 14!!!

Wow, sex is a big step. But here's my opinion...14? hm, that does sound young, when I hear it..but then I think...heck, I was only 15! And it wasn't even with someone I love...and I look back and regret it. I'm not saying YAH GO DO IT! Just think if you really really want to, cause you can't take that back. And if you do plan on taking that next step, USE PROTECTION. I don't care if you have dated 2 years...it's not worth all the risks!

okay well people may think im wrong about me telling you this but i am mexican, puertorican, american and my mother is mexican so in mexico its like if someone you like and you had sex with him you stay with him or if you really do love him you could move in together lik practically married but in mexico if you tell soomeone that your already married at such a young age they wont be shocked cuz its really normal. look. im only 16 years old and im married. i have benn with my man for over 3 years and i love him with no kids. we just moved in together by ourselves alone in an apartment. we use to live in with my mother but it got too crowded. so you see you are not alone do what you want to do. dont let anyone tell you, you are tooo young. not everyone is perfect. not every has sex after they get married or past the age of 18. so trust me. its no mistake. live your life to the fullest. fu ck what other people think and choose your own fate. Depends on the individuals involved. Some aren't ready at 30.
Sorry 14 is too young. You say you are pretty much married - so does that mean as a couple you pay your own rent,groceries, health care, insurance, utility bills etc? That's great!

You are way to young...your bf will probably not want to use condoms because he will not fully understand why.
There is such a high risk of pregnancy and STD's these days..
I say it is too young...imagine this: You have sex with him, get pregnant, and by the time you are 14 and a half, you have a baby. You won't even be done Junior High!! Wait, it is the smart choice to make.
