I really love nature and don't know exactly where I want to go with it I just know I don't want to work in a cubicle. Are there any colleges or schools out there that specialize in becominga ranger, or nature and science. (I also wanted to kind of avoid lib arts schools.. but all suggestions are welcome).

It sounds like Environmental Science might be the right major for you. However, private liberal arts colleges often have excellent Environmental Science programs, because Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary major, and liberal arts colleges pretty much invented interdisciplinary studies.

However, since you're not interested in liberal arts colleges, you should be pleased that there are some large universities that have superb Environmental Science programs, some with strengths in forestry, some with strengths in public policy, etc.

You might want to check out Cornell University, Indiana University, SUNY-ESF, Oregon State U, Virginia Polytechnic U, U of Minnesota, U Wisconsin (Madison), Auburn U, Penn State U.
