lol, Naruto is for kids. Well FLCL is excellent, Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are classics, Lupin the 3rd is good, Vision of Escaflowne, Neon Genesis Evagelion is great, Samurai Champloo, Grenadier: Senshi of Smiles, Stand Alone Complex, SAC 2ndGIG, Pilot Candidate, Gundam, Outlaw Star, Full Metal Alchemist, s-CRY-ed is okay, Gunslinger Girl, Beck, Paranoia Agent........ That's all I've seen and can vouch for. All of these are good and at least worth watching even if they are not your favorite. My fav. are Bebop, Champloo, SAC, Escaflowne, and Evangelion.

1) Naruto - story about an orphan who is dreaming to become Hokage someday....really cool. Characters pop out surprisingly as episodes go by, and it rocks!
2) Yakitate! Japan - if you can't eat or you're going on a crash diet, then don't watch this. Each episode will make you hungry, I swear! It's about a boy named Azuma Kazuma who is dreaming to become a chef for the world-famous bakery, Pantasia.
3) Galaxy Angel - about 5 pesky girls who try to save the galaxy, but almost always end up destroying planets. It's pretty funny, too!
4) Shaman King - about Yoh Asakura, who sees spirits, and takes control of Amidamaru, a 600-year old samurai. It's all about action and comedy, but some episodes are gory, like when Ren killed someone , and Faust VIII and Yoh's battle.
Since you're a guy, I won't include Peach Girl, which is a shoujo kind of anime, about Momo Adachi, who's having problems with high school and her love life......unless you like romance sometimes...and Wagamama Fairy Mirumo de Pon is romantic, sci-fi, comedic, and CUTE!!! It's about a girl named Katie who likes a guy named Dylan, and one day, made a cup of hot chocolate and got her own Muglox named Mirmo, who tries to fulfill her love wishes!
Those are my faves, since I'm a girl. You're a guy, so I'm gonna include my other shonen faves:
GetBackers - about 2 guys
Inuyasha - about a girl named Kagome who goes in a well, and into a world where she meets a half-human half-demon named Inuyasha, and a couple of others....
Gensoumaden Saiyuki/Saiyuki Reload/Saiyuki Reload Gunlock - about 4 guys , who journey to the west, and fight demons. With Gojyo and Goku, there's some comedy, with all the bickering and Sanzo firing his gun, then Hakkai doing nothing......
Rurouni Kenshin - about a samurai named Kenshin Himura, also known as Battousai, who swore to never again kill somebody and always protect his friends.
Hmmm...those are my shonen faves

I like anime, but I don't like the ones like Lupin the III. Will it's not lupin really it's how it's draw, or shown, or maybe it's the qualitywhat ever it is I don't like it. I also like the theme songs I don't understan the languge but I still like it.
My favorite anime is Inuyasha, also I like Vandread,Gungave, FLCL, Fullmetal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, Hellsing, Wolf's Rain, Yu Yu Hakusho, DragonBall;Z and GT,and Vampire Hunter D(though I sorta have the same proble with it as lupin the III) to name a few.
