No, you are not a loser, just a good friend. You need to find another friend...cuz this hoodrat is not a friend.

I dont think that you are a loser, you are just a compassionate friend, but you have a loser as a friend.
I had a friend that stole all of the time, she never took anything of mine, at least that I knew of, but she stole from other people and stores. I had two best friends, with one best friend, we'll call her 'A', we had a group of friends that always hung out and things like that. The best friend 'B', the one that stole all of the time, she was very out spoken, and it was just her and I...no group. I felt bad because everyone wanted to go out this one time, and I asked 'A', if I could invite 'B' as well with all our friends. Of course she said that it would be fine. Well there was this one friend that was joking around, flapping all this money around, everyone was kind of grabbing at it, playing along with 'who had his $20?'....others saw 'B' take it. I didn't know who to believe, didn't want to choose sides, so I just left it as it was. Every one with the group and 'A' was really mad at me, and 'B' was mad that I didn't stick up for her. It wasn't a good night. I didn't know how I could stick up for 'B' though, she's stolen shirts and gifts when I was there with her all the time, she never hid that from me. She took her Mom's debit card once and took out money and spent some money as well, without her Mom knowing. I brought up the situation again one night, and she said how she never took it, as a best friend I chose to believe her, but I knew she took it, I had this feeling. I'm not friends with her now, and it was because I felt like she really didn't treat me like her best friend. The thing is, we are more aquaintences now, and thats what I suggest you should do, just try to drift a bit from her, invite her to some things, but find another friend to spend most of your time with. Honestly honey you shouldn't put up with that. Its hard because she has probably been your friend for a while, right? But hopefully you have or will make other friends. You're probably fairly young, so find a friend that you want to be with that wont take advantage of you. Once you kind of get her off her mind, kind of like when you break up with a boyfriend, things will get better.... and maybe/hopefully she'll realize that she should treat her future friends better if she wants to keep them!

well i dont think you're a loser...friendship is a valuable thing. but if you really did steal the stuff then you should call her and explain things to her and if you didnt then you should explain that you didnt. and if she doenst call you back she wasnt that good of a friend. REAL friends are suppose to forgive, so if she doesnt call back forget it shes not worth you and move on.

If she steals from you, she obviously cant be trusted. And she is not your friend either, so dont waste your time trying to get ahold of her. Shes the one at fault, not you. I dont think youre a LOSER, i think you have to work on letting go of that friendship.=)

I think your so called *friend* is the desperate loser....either she should fess up or defend herself...if she does neither, I would have to say she is definitely guilty and you shouldn't waste your time trying to be friends with her!

I see nothing wrong with her taking her things back . They are her things. She shouldn't have to ask permission to get them back. One of my brothers took hundreds of dollars from me worth of cds and tons of money. He even took my daughters piggy bank and all of the money in it. I still hang around him. Of course he is really messed up in the head because of our parents. Since she is not family , you should not have anything to do with her. She will just keep hurting you over , and over again.

I don't really know, this never happened to me. But it sounds like she did it. It is not desperate to want to keep a friend.
