When I was in college they brought in a man called Hercules. He looked like an ordinary man. The first thing he did was ask for a dime from the audience. Several skeptical people checked the dime to see if it was for real. He then took it placed it between his teeth and twisted it in half. We all cried foul and he did it again. He proceeded to take several 100 watt light bulbs and chew them up and swallow the glass. These bulbs were lit. He then proceeded to place a ten penny nail through his skin and attach it to two live electrical wires. He poured water on the nail and shook all over the place. When it was over he took it out and went on like nothing had happened.
At the end of the show he told us he would out run a car the next day at noon. We all showed up but he didn't.
