The greatest but dead king was Elvis, although he should have been credited, too, as the father of modern rock and roll. My vote for a living rock and roll king would go to Michael Jackson.

Everyone says it's Elvis, but I'd have to say it's "Dimebag". Although he was metal. Hmmmmmmmmmm......I guess he can be included in rock and roll too. And if not than I'd say Beck. Oh wait, you said king not God. Nevermind. How about Sir Paul McCartney, or John Lennon.
