i don't. not in this form. currently israel is a country that was granted its land by usa after world war 2 - there was no such thing as israel.the land belonged to arabs - that's why the fight for it. they fight for their land, not because they are stupid and wild - damn no. if usa wants israel to exist - then let usa give it some of its land, usa had no right to take land from arabs and do whatever they wanna do. if you so love jews and want them live happy - take all of them and give them territory - in your own country!!

Even Israelis accept that their existence is wrong.
“If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. We have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?”

The bottom line is that if you went to Israel 100 years ago, you would have been hard pressed to find anyone Jewish. If such an occupation was attempted in any of the nations that support Israel's right to exist, it would not have been tolerated.
At this point it would be best if all parties would agree to share the land and resources as one people and with one government as was originally agreed when the Jewish people began to repopulate the area a century ago after an absence that lasted over a thousand years. Strangely, the Jewish occupation of Isreal is similar on a small scale to the European takeover of North America from the Native Americans. But in that case also, the idea of all non-Native Americans vacating North America now is not only impractical but impossible. History may repeat itself, but the solutions are usually limited to damage control.

I've seen alot of crazy answers to this question.
I can't agree that Israel shouldn't exist. I can't agree either that Israel is doing the right thing taking Arab's land. Whether Israel had the right to exist or not is no longer the issue. UN and perhaps most of the world had already come to accept Israel. However, Israel itself had to do more than just antagonize it's neighbor. Israel must admitted that most of its territory are carved up from Arab's land and must try to return some of it. They must also try to be more fair to the Palestinian. Israel must also try to work towards gaining its neighbor and world acceptance.
As for those that say it is within Israel right to exist as stated in bible, I hope that religion had not blinded you just like religious fanaticalism had blinded the Hezbollah. It is this kind of thinking that started this middle east conflict 60 years ago. It is also this kind of thinking that fuel the terrorism around the world (eg IRA, Tamil Tiger, Al-Qaeda, etc) When you are blinded, you are not open to new suggestion or opinion and this will only leads to bigotry and fanaticalism. Remember my young padawan, fear leads to hate, hate leads to anger, anger leads to suffering.
I've even seen some that try to justified Israel existance by refering to history. Come on, that land's ownership change hand so many times that, even historian are having headache sorting it out. Just because they used to own it doesn't mean its theirs. They had to see the bigger picture. The fact is that Jewish no longer stay there, there are already new occupant (the Arabs) there for hundreads of year since then. There are no claim for the land for at least a few centuries and now suddenly its their land just because that land used to be their land a few centuries ago?!! If that the case, half of Europe should belong to Rome!
As for why US would not give its land for the Jew? Well, would you carve your own flesh to feed the hungry eagle? Then again, I seriously doubt Jewish will accept US offer either because they already had their eye on the crown jewel name Jurusalem.

Israel was a nation well before the U.S. started aiding it after World War II. So what if land belongs to arabs, jews or whoever? Why can't we all just get along? I'm for freedom of religion and for freedom of speech. The lies Hezbullah and Iran have been spouting about how you must fight to be someone is nonsense. Stop being so stubborn, stop attacking Israel and Israel will be happy with a cease fire at the blue line in the south of Lebanon. Too much hate and bickering is pointless.

First of all, every archeological dig in Israel is turns up nothing but Hebrew artifacts nothing Arab.
The fact is the Arabs never controled Israel until the 1400's. Prior to that Israel was the Northern part of the country and Judah was the Southern.
At one pont the tribe of Israel was taken into slavery by the Assyrians and moved them into Western Europe. At that point Israel was taken over by Judah who for a short period of time was taken into slavery by Babylon and were freed by Cyrus the Great who allowed the Jews back in to Israel where they rebuilt the temple and their society.
Eventuially they were overrun by Rome. After a few rebellions they removed the Jews from Israel where they ran it until Rome was overrun.
Not until the 1400's it was taken over by the Arabs for apprximately 200 years. Then it was taken over by the Ottoman Turks and remained that way until after WW II.
For most of history it was controlled by Jews and it is their land that unlawfully taken form them by the Roman Empire. Only for a short couple of centuries was it run by the Arabs. This can not only be proven by the Bible but also by your history books. The Arabs are the occupiers in a land they have no right to, not the Jews.

What a lot of people do not know is that the Jews bought much of the land of Israel. With money. The Arabs have the WHOLE middle east. Let Israel have the tiny sliver that GOD granted them.

If you have the right to breath then israel has the right to live....The earth was not man made, whether you believe in God or just the science avenue, Man did not make the earth....No one person can own land, the land owns us. If Droughts occur and the ground dries up do we have control over that. Live and let live and maybe the world would be a better place.....People need to live in peace but since hate always follows then whats the point in attempting to stop it........

You make some good points my man. I think Israel is priveleged to exist and ought to show a little more humility and a willingness to find peace and equality for everyone. Whether you like it or not though, Israel is a fact that is not going to go away. By the same token, Palestine deserves to be a sovereign nation, that day is long overdue. The whole world will be a lot better off and a lot safer when that happens. I will continue to pray for a peaceful resolution.

Just as you fight for your land, so do the Jews. If they don't have a right to exist, then you don't have a right to exist either.
Listen, if the rest of the world left Israel to do what it wants, it would probably destroy all the Arabs. Is this what you want?

Like it or not Israel will not go away. Israel does have a right to exist. Especially when countries or tyranny like Iran and groups like Hezbollah call for its demise. We should stand and support Israel. Israel has been around for centuries, yes they have extra land now but that was then. That is like saying oh we took the native americans land so they should just fight us to get it back and destroy us. Get real and think before you speak.
