If your doc's not worried, you shouldn't be either. Sounds normal to me - there's a lot of expansion and growth going on in there right now - you'll be just fine.

You know, i had this all the way through my preganancy. I was very active and walked all the time. It got to a point where i was in so much pain that my Dr advised me to take a few days off. Rest and baths and tylenol did eventually help as did a heat pad in the pelvic area. Just try and take it easy if you can.

Don't be scared. It's normal, although I'm much farther along than you (8 months) I've been getting a lot of pressure on my pelvic bone and my hips for the last few weeks.
If there was something wrong, your doctor would have told you to come in, just trust your doctor. And congrats!
snady s~Next time, consider just linking to the article as opposed to copying and pasting the whole thing. You also have to be careful about Wikipedia because anyone can edit information there, so it's not always a reliable source.

I am 15 weeks pregnant. I woke up and felt really bad pressure almost like a cramp. And it was same for changing postions and walking. After going through out the day with this pain. I decided it was time to go to the hospital. I found out I had a urniary tract infection. I had no signs of a urinary tract infection. No pain when peeing, or quick urges. So it was quite weriod.

Your body goes through so many changes when you are pregant, The pressure sounds like normal cramping from your expanding uterus. Is it sharp pain or a dull ache? If it's sharp I would call your doc again and explain how painful it is on the pain scale. If it's a dull ache it will come and go especially as the baby gets bigger and bigins to sit on nerves and such. But you know your body better than anyone. Don't worry about calling the doc too much. That's what they are there for.

You are perfectly fine. I had the same thing during the same time frame. The baby is getting bigger, and now that you are at least 4 months along, you can start to feel it. I always felt it when I laid down to sleep and when ever I sat up to eat (when I could keep it down!). I wouldn't worry about it. Congrats!!

If it is pressure and not pain, it is probably because you have a baby growing there, and that takes up space and is a tad heavy,,, the expansion puts pressure on the things that usually take up that space. It's normal.

Your body goes through so much when you are pregnant. If your doctor does not seem to be concerned, try to relax. I called my doctor about every little pain and it was usually nothing, but I always wanted to make sure.Try to take it easy.

I remember that! The pressure that you're talking about, I think that it is your muscles stretching and body adjusting to the baby. I hope that you feel better.
