If your friend lied about something that is very important, then you will have to confront her about it. But if the lie is something that is simply embarrassing to her, then she is probably avoiding you because she is ashamed. In that case, find some way to let her know that you are still friends, and that her lying is unimportant to you, or at least much less important than your friendship. I suggest just ignoring the lie - again, if it's not a very important lie - and inviting her to do something that you normally enjoy together. Just don't make her feel ashamed because she already is.

Well, you don't tell me in detail the problem of you and your best friend. What's the matter ? Why does your best friend find some way to lie to you ? Firstly, I think you can go to her house and talk to her frankly. If she doesn't want to talk to you, you can tell her that she let you down and anyway, you are best friends., you need to talk, it's the only way to solve your problem. Keep calm and listen to her. Maybe he has her problem, he can't tell you the truth for some reasons. After you find out the reason why she is a liar, you have to decide whether you can be her best friend or not. But if it is not serious, try to forgive and go on being her good friend. Everyone has his error.

It sucks when a friend that you really care about fails you and they seem to not care about it. Try writing her a email telling her that you are hurt because of the lies that she has said but that you are willing to forgive her and fix your friendship. remember it takes 2 to make a friendship work and if she is not willing to make it work out then its time for you to find a new friend. Remember tho that people are going to fail you and you have to give room for people to make mistakes. when you do that its not on that hard on you when they do something wrong.

Dont try and fix nothin, she is the one in the wrong not you. Dont get upset and sad about it girl, just let her do her and you do you. You dont need ignorant people like that in your life to bring you down. Go out and find somebody new to chill with.

if she is the one that needs to fix the problem...let her fix the problem. Why are you doing this to yourself? You have no reason to be feeling bad!

Yikes. If you think SHE should be the one to fix things, leave her alone. Let her sit in her guilt.

Leave her alone. When SHE is sorry for what SHE did, SHE will contact you IF she is mature. If she is NOT mature, you do not need her in your life anyway.
