My sister told me that it is a good thing we fed the cows grain because otherwise they would become ill. However, I don't think anyone feeds wild cows because they're wild. So, what do they eat instead?
Wild cows are elusive creatures; I have never observed them enough to see what they eat...

Native grasses which are really a blend of several grass species offering a nutritionally balanced diet for wild animals. Cows do not necessarily become sick if they are not feed grain though.

lol, there are no "wild" cows.. there are wild bovines but not cows specifically. Maybe ferel cows.. But in the wild it is what they are not eating and what they are NOT living in.. if you wan to see what I mean?.. visit a slaughter house and a stock yard. dairy famrs are a good eye opener as well...chemicals in foods they eat, cramped filthy living conditions breead deseases amongst animals just as they do humans..

well, there wild animals so because there wild there immune system is stronger so they can fight off the illness that they have in their system or the disease that they may have.

They eat grass! You know, dogs eat grass when they are sick to their stomachs. It has medicinal qualities...hehe

they need to eat grass and berries, nothing old or molded and or mildewed as they will get colic.
