You can almost tell who hates Bush or Clinton simply because they are republican or democrat on this board. Clinton had a better economic policy; but, I would not have wanted him as president on 9/11. And contrary to popular opinion, cirilli, it is not plausible for Bush to have eliminated a "surplus" budget and sent the country into a recession in less than a year. The problem started during Clinton's administration. The country has never had a surplus budget in the last 30 years.

seanchasworth, good points; but, if a president EVER asks the U.N. for permission for military action, they need to be impeached. The U.N. does not and will not choose what is right for this country. Since when has Russia been an ally?

Clinton by far. there are 10,000 examples. Clinton had a IQ of about 180 Bushs is about 80. There is no Legislation passed by Congress in the past 6 years that makes life better for the working class.

Clinton once said "the biggest bully on the block will never last, if we as a nation and as a part of the world stand against the bully as friends not enemies, you can not kill all your enemies". In other words Clinton had hope that we could make enemies into friends in the world, he also knew that it would require real work.
Clinton was also in favor of a stronger military not weaker as it is now under Republican leadership. Clinton was also smart enough to know that more debt does not make the USA a better country it makes us weaker in power over others.

Clinton without a doubt. You didnt see him going to war and lying about the reason why. 9/11 attack on new york would have never happened if bush wasnt in office because bush has a relationship with the bin laden's and bush had something to do with 9/11. Clinton did lie about having sex but did he send troops to their death to iraq for his own personal gain? I think not.
