Because the sun emits light which is used by your eyes and the colors are reflected by the glass allowing it to be transparent. Sorry about the scientific answer.

The molecules in glass aren't dense enough to block light. Therefore all light passes through it unhindered, thus allowing you to see what's on the other side of it.
