i'm on birth control but i know there is still a chance of getting pregnant. if i were to become pregnant while on the pill would a home pregnancy test be able to tell?

Yes. It detects the amount of Hcg in your urine, and bc pills don't have that chemical in them.

Yes the pregnancy test would still show a positive result.

the pill is only 98% effective. and a home pregger test from wal-mart is the same as the one the doctor uses and charges you for.

Sometimes yes, but others no....... Sometimes a home test doesn't work for certain women as they aren't as effective as seeing your physician and having a blood HCG done, which is the most reliable type of preg. test.
