My computer keeps freezing, i.e. it will fail to reach another page or site and will not respond when I click on a button or blue link. In the end, I have to resort to swiching it off via the button on the computer itself and not via the mouse, then have to re-boot all over again. It's a Windows 98. Any suggestions for fixing the problem? please?

Control alt delete. Click, on "processes" tab. Alot of stuff may be running in the background of your computer, thus, slowing it down. Delete the items you think you don't need. Don't try to delete the items with the user name "system" only delete the junk that has your user name. Good luck!
