I dont get an allowance because Im 23, but when I was a teen I got $50 a week (not much) but I didnt do chores, the maid did all that.

I work to get my money, like at a real job where I get $17.50 an hour. I don't do chores because every time I do anything for my parents they always say that it isn't good enough for them, and that I do it wrong, so I never do anything for them anymore.

I clear off the table, wash the dishes, vacuum and dust my room, wash the floor, etc. I do all of this with NO pay. I have never gotten allowance my entire life.

I get 50 dollars a month. I clean my mom, feed my cat, work on my home schooling and do 2 lessons a week, and the dishes.
