I like making flash videos, but ...uh...writers block. Please help me!!!

I won't give you a story idea, because as a writer I believe it is important to come up with your own material, but I will give you advice.
Stop trying to make up a story and think of a simple scenario.
like: Joe goes to the store for ice cream.
Then ask yourself "what if"... "what if..." anything, really. What if an alien attacked him. What if he nearly was run over but a beautiful woman saves him. you get the idea...
Then... mix it up, do the unexpected. maybe the alien is nice, or Joe turns out to be gay, or the girl upon closer inspection is a transvestite. Whatever you do, think outside of the box, have great characters, and don't get cliche. Oh yeah, just keep asking "what if"

Man - I can relate to writer's block!!! What are things that you like? What are things that excite you? What sort of adventure would you like to have? Something like hot air ballooning, or sky diving might make some fun flash videos. Or, it could be as simple as a flower opening, or the day in the life of your dog. Good Luck!

The most popular flash movies are usually about video game characters in a parody or odd situations. Try doing an intense poker game between Mario, Sonic, Solid Snake (from Metal Gear), Pac Man, and the little alien from Katamari Damacy. If you do it, e-mail me with a link!

Write a story about a Jew and a Muslim who get together over the internet. They exchange messages and begin to understand and like each other. Then a war breaks out and they both go to fight... In the course of the war they meet for the first time. They decide not to fight anymore, and then they try to stop the fighting.

Hero: Captain Narcoleptic
Villian: Speed Queen
Opening scene - Our here asleep dreaming of himself sleeping on the beach.
fade in on a chemist chick and bubbling flasks. It's Speed Queen plotting to drug the daring captain so he can't sleep. Y'see, the sleep is Captain Narcoleptic's secret weapo, so he is distraught, pacing and wandering, wondering who did this to him. Meanwhile the Speed Queen prepares to rob the guy pushing the hotdog card.Fade in on a dark ally, the Captain smells the Speed Queen's lair. There's a huge fight.... Suspense builds....
The hotdog vender is saved. UNTIL Captain Narcoleptic finds the antidote , then cuddles up in a beanbag chair and goes to sleep, dreaming once again of sleeping.
Fade in on the Speed Queen eating a hotdog while standing on top of the hotdog vendor

well i have this idea that i thought would be amusing but many people might not share my sense of humor.
just to make it easier i will name my characters joe and dan
joe and dan are in a science lab
joe finds a beaker with a red juice looking substance in it and comes to the conclusion that it is a glass of juice
Joe: "mmmm juice!"
he then spits it out with sheer digust
dan: "thats iodine you idiot"

Just use something based on real life. Let's say something happened at school(if you are still in school) and it was bad. Turn it around and make it funny in your writing or video. If something funny happened, turn that around and turn into something tragic. Just use opposites and be creative.
