It's okay to do that once in a while (2 packs in a row). It depends on your body, so you should ask your doctor. Not all pills are meant to work like Seasonale.

I seem to remember reading that if you take regular birth control pills, it's not a good idea to skip the white pills.

There is nothing wrong with doing it this way if you get your doctor's OK. Find out how often the doc wants you to take the white pills and have a period.

You should speak to your doctor regarding that, a female doctor if you would prefer it. Don't follow any medical advice you receive from those who aren't professionals as you can't completely trust someone's advice on your health, no matter how well-meant it may be.

you should really talk to your doctor about this. each type of pill is different...there are those designed for you to do as you are wanting...get those, don't try to make what you have into the type you really want.

it's ok. i do the same thing with the patch on the directions from my doctor. the patch decreases my migraines, so she told me to stay on b.c. longer.
